
Dr. Chris Ju
(PT, DPT, FAFS, CSCS, USAW)
Dr. Chris earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and a Certified Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting (USAW). He also completed a Fellowship in Applied Functional Science (FAFS) through the Gray Institute.
Dr. Chris first became interested in Physical Therapy when he received treatment for multiple shoulder and knee injuries sustained during his career as a Division I Athlete at Colgate University. As a 4 year member of Colgate’s Track & Field Team, Chris participated in the Hammer Throw and received multiple awards and distinctions for his achievements, including All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year through the NSCA in 2015.
Dr. Chris has a passion for treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports injuries, but has a particular interest in bridging the gap from rehabilitation to higher levels of athletic performance. Prior to beginning at ProClinix, he has had a wealth of experience treating individuals of all ages and activity levels, ranging from acute post-operative patients and older adults to weekend warriors, fitness enthusiasts, and professional athletes in the MLB and NFL. He prides himself on utilizing a customized and movement-based approach for his assessment and treatment, while utilizing evidence-based practice to inform his plan of care. He uses advanced manual therapy techniques and prescribes patient-specific mobility and strengthening exercises to get his patients back to doing the activities that they love.
