
Dr. Amy Shahbazian
(PT, DPT, OCS)
Dr. Amy Shahbazian, PT, DPT, OCS received her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s University in 2015. She is board-certified in orthopedics and has experience working clinically with endurance athletes as well as patients with orthopedic conditions and persistent pain. Her clinical experience includes:
- Spine and musculoskeletal conditions
- Post-surgical repairs and joint replacements
- Traumatic and overuse injuries
- Vestibular & Concussion Rehabilitation
With extensive training through the Institute of Physical Art and a wide range of continuing education courses, Dr. Shahbazian focuses on manual therapy techniques, functional mobilization, and motor control training to promote optimal, efficient, and purposeful movement. She loves her work in physical therapy, as it allows her to help patients not only get out of pain, but also move and perform at their highest potential. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and running—although these days it mostly consists of running after her one-year-old.
