ProClinix Sports Physical Therapy & Chiropractic is excited to expand and is seeking a dedicated, skilled Clinical Director / Physical Therapist in Armonk, NY to join our award-winning team at ProClinix Sports Physical Therapy & Chiropractic, named Best of Westchester!
We are a privately owned, multi-disciplinary healthcare practice specializing in sports and orthopedic care. Our services include physical therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care, sports performance training, and progressive rehabilitation. With eight locations throughout Westchester County, we are proud to offer a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to healing and wellness.
What We’re Looking For:
- Acceptable credentials: DPT, tDPT, MSPT, or PTA (for support roles)
- Active NY State PT license (in-progress or pending licenses accepted)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with athletic populations or return-to-sport protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassion, empathy, and strong patient-care skills
- Passion for sports rehab, performance training, and holistic care
- Specialty certifications are a plus – candidates with credentials such as PRPC, CAPP-Pelvic, ICE, APTA Pelvic Health (pelvic floor), or CHT (hand therapy) are encouraged to apply!
Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000

What You’ll Do:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for orthopedic, sports-related, and post-surgical conditions
- Deliver hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional movement training
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, including chiropractors, massage therapists, and acupuncturists, to ensure integrated care
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, focusing on mobility, pain management, and return-to-sport protocols
- Implement return-to-sport and performance-based rehab programs tailored to athletes’ goals and timelines
- Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and performance optimization
- Evaluate and document patient progress using EMR systems and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain compliance with NY State licensure requirements and clinic protocols

Full Job Details and Application
Education: postgraduate degree
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or MS in Physical Therapy required.
- New York State Physical Therapy License.
- Strong background in sports medicine, orthopedic rehabilitation, and manual therapy techniques.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Skills:
- Expertise in physical therapy modalities, manual therapy techniques, and rehabilitation protocols.
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop customized treatment plans for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both with patients and team members.
- Ability to mentor and motivate clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care through assessments, evaluations, and personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and treatment plans.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Manage patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Assist in the development and implementation of practice-wide policies and procedures.
- Manage patient scheduling and ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives to grow the practice.
