Dr. Rachel Terranova, PT, DPT, CSCS, CES is a licensed Physical Therapist who earned her Doctorate from Dominican College and her B.S. in Exercise Science from Southern Connecticut State University. With over 20 years of experience in health and fitness, Dr Terranova holds certifications including CSCS, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Yoga Instructor, and USA Boxing Coach. Dr Terranova’s experience & background includes manual therapy & the treatment of injuries and conditions, such as:
- Sports & Repetitive Stress Injuries
- Pre & Post Orthopedic Surgical Rehab
- Spine & Musculoskeletal Conditions
- Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy
Through clinical affiliations and a multitude of continuing education courses, Dr. Terranova focuses on a variety of manual therapy and myofascial therapy techniques including various taping and decompression methods focusing on Orthopedic and Pelvic floor specialties. She is an active member of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association.)
Dr. Terranova treats all orthopedic dysfunctions and post-operative surgeries. She inclusively treats individuals with pelvic floor dysfunctions including post-surgical, prenatal and post-partum, and a multitude of bowel and bladder issues.
She is passionate about connecting with each individual patient and working on their specific ailments to improve their function. She strives to give them the tools and strategies they need to improve and manage those conditions in the future in order to live their best lives.
